Dugort Golden Strand
You can access this beach from two places. I find that if the ground is dry then access is better by parking close to the Achill Rovers football pitch and fishing from the right hand end of the beach or even following it further around over the rocks to Caraun Point. The other access is to park near to Mastersons bar further along the road to dugort. This end of the beach (to the left of the stream inlet) offers both sand and rocks to choose from.
